Farm Unterhabererhof in Santa Maddalena – Holidays on a historic farm
The Unterhabererhof in Val Casies in South Tyrol is a traditional livestock farm. The farmstead is located at an altitude of 1,460 meters above sea level in the small village of Santa Maddalena at the end of the valley. Nestled among green meadows and surrounded by wooded hills, the farm Unterhabererhof is an ideal starting point for hiking and bicycle tours. Beautiful hiking trails lead directly past the farm; and during the winter months, right outside the front door, you may find the entry into the 42-kilometer cross-country network of the Val Casies. On the farm Unterhabererhof, you will spend your holidays in a historic farmhouse dating back to the year 1638.

Away from traffic noise and the hustle & bustle of everyday life, on the farm Unterhabererhof you may spend relaxing vacation weeks in an impressive mountain panorama. Cows, calves and cats live on our farm, and many farm products are homemade. During your vacation on the historic farm, upon request, we will offer you our fresh farm products (due to availability). Please feel free to help your hosts feeding the animals or to give them a hand in the stables. In the outside area, there are a sunbathing lawn and a playground for children with swings, a trampoline, a sandbox and a basketball hoop. Table tennis and table football are also available. In case of bad weather, you may choose among a selection of books and various board games. On request, you may have a barbecue evening, and not far away from our farm, you will find several traditional South Tyrolean taverns.
